However i saw that in schwabs, there is weekly options for some company. So i did Selling of options 1 day before the expiring date thinking it should generate good roi.

2019 New start,new beginning

As per last post in Feb 2017, due to personal matter, I had sold all my holding and stop investing for 2 years.

Finally, in 2019, I had a capital outlay of $14767.30 invested. After reading up many article, Options Selling to collect premium is better than buy and hold to take dividend reason being dividend has 30% taxed and my annual target ROI is more than 5% p.a. At the end of the whole objective is to sell options for 20 companies. So if the end game is to sell options, it is better to do it now as premium collected is better than dividend received. Of course, these companies are the one that is Dividend Aristocrats which Im going to owned. If didn't get assigned, i will keep collect premium. If get assigned, i will collect dividends. Its a win-win situation.

By selling options monthly, the ROI min got to be 0.5% in order to hit annual target.
